FWIW, Bob McKillop was the 2008 NABC Coach of the Year.
Also, to be clear, they aren’t the only team in the country to run the Pack Line defense; they just do it better than everyone else.
Arizona, Dayton (under Archie), Wisconsin, Xavier (under Sean), UCLA, Michigan State, etc., all play/played the Pack Line with success.
Why is this entitled “Tony Bennett’s Pack Line Defense” when our smart posters have already pointed out that other programs run the same stuff?
BTW, there is nothing magical about any defensive alignment. Gotta have guys who actually play defense as hard as offense, as opposed to looking at defense as a rest period between offensive possessions. (See last season’s team)
