Are they really playing a D3 team?
Are they really playing a D3 team?[/quote]wow. SOmetimes I’d rather we schedule DII/III teams than some of the garbage DI teams we schedule. At least they wouldn’t hurt our RPI.
It’s not like a win (and yes we’d win 9/10) against Gardner Webb looks any better than a win over a school like Wingate.

Yes and it is not the first time. D2 and D3 teams show up on their schedule every year. All those wins gives their students something to brag about.
We can beat Mercer. I hope we get a road win to make it 3 in a row.

Here’s my take: this is the only team that would play them tonight, as Steph Curry is in town for the bobcats game tomorrow night and d’son wanted a game tonight so he could attend and soak up the accolades, etc. You can catch it allll on the sports tonight, on all the local channels. Be there! Aloha!

On the ride home, I turned on 95.7 and heard Kilgo calling the game (if you can call it that). He said they were D3 and did not have scholarship players.
