Did not realize that Harvard had that large of a stadium.
It’s pretty sweet- a horseshoe look that mimics Roman architecture. The Yale bowl is also a really cool stadium. I believe that it has shrunk but is still the largest FCS stadium around 60-65,000.

For reference, here is the Yale Bowl, the largest FCS Stadium (Wiki notes it seats 64,246):
Of course, the Charlotte 49ers’ stadium will certainly eclipse that in a few years. :p
I think Georgia State now claims the largest stadium with the Georgia Dome seating 70,000+, but they probably only use the lower bowl.
I am guessing that UTSA’s Alamo Dome which seats 65,000 will be up there as well. These are not the primary tenants though.
No, that’s true- but I didn’t count them because they are NFL stadiums. I believe UMass is moving to Foxborough as well, aren’t they?
As far as an ACTUAL school stadium, however, the Yale Bowl still reins supreme. It’s pretty awesome in real life as well- though I haven’t been there for a game, only when wandering around the campus.
Their stadium seats 15,000 like our proposed stadium. Our stadium would be around 50th largest in FCS football.

That’s their old stadium…they new one which had it’s first season last year is a 15,000 seat horseshoe like ours, except not dug into a bowl, Pic below:

Good catch. They have a pretty nice looking stadium. I have changed the originsl photo.
Saluki Stadium was a part of the $83 million Saluki Way Project, which included a renovation to the 46-year old SIU Arena and the construction of the Donald Boydston Center that features new football offices, an athletic training room and a 5,000-square foot locker room for the team. 360 Architecture designed Saluki Stadium and J.E. Dunn Construction was the general contractor. It was constructed at a cost of $25.3 million. A half-cent sales tax increase approval by the city of Carbondale along with an increase in student fees, private donations and the sale of 12 new club suites will pay for the balance of construction costs.

Wow, the city put up a sales-tax increase to help pay for a college football stadium. Welcome to Illinois. I am not surprised they raised taxes, only that they applied the revenues to football.
