2013 Signing Day Thread
We slid all the way up to 15th after signing day:

http://247sports.com/Season/2013-Football/CompositeTeamRankings?Conference=C-USA
I’m still trying to figure out this football recruiting stuff, but when a team that hasn’t played a down yet, a team that will be FCS Independent for the next two years, can come in 15th out of 20 in an FBS conference something is going right. For those people that think we are in for several years of butt-whippings because that is how it is done, we may just surprise you.

Agreed! I have been telling everyone that I know the same thing. Get ready Niner Nation!

They’ve got Wolfgang listed twice at 70 and 79.
I’m not particularly impressed with recruiting sites and rankings.

When you take out the Big East defectors we’re at 8th out of 13th (I’m assuming Tulsa is defecting)

Just because its been a SB topic of interest, here’s the recruits for both Charlotte and App that Rivals have listed as being recruited by both:

Charlotte:

Duffy, no offer
Lawshe, no offer
Starnes, no offer

App. St.:

Cox, Offer
Gilchrist. Offer
Jones, no offer

For those that couldn’t attend, here’s the Chalk Talk Dinner:

For real? I went to South Meck too. I thought I was the only one on this board that went there. Year?
2001- I was in home room my first 2 years at South with former Niner, Vincent Grier.

FBALL: Still going - Signed Eugene German, a 6-5, 260 OT from Martinsburg, W. Va. First team all-state choice. #NSD #Kickoff2013
German is a great player. He was also the winner of the “Hunt Award” for the best lineman in the state as well as part of three state champion teams that only lost one game in three seasons.

He looks pleased to be wearing that Charlotte cap.

He is doing great. He will be jogging in a couple of weeks. He will be ready in August but will more than likely redshirt anyway.

Metro will be pleased to see that the logo on this hat is large enough to see in the photo!

Ga State’s all time leading tackler Mark Hogan is transferring to Charlotte…will have 1 yr remaining.

Excellent addition today, great to have transfers still committing.

clt says this whole snapback hat thing is not cool.

Tintin agrees with clt.
5950 or go lidless.
