2nd recruit:

Charlotte49ers pick up 2nd recruit for class of '15, Butler WR Alex Barrow.

QB: Nick Johns Gonzaga, DC
RB: Jareke Chambers North Rowan, NC
WR: Tabari Hines South Florence, SC
WR: Kyle Horton Mallard Creek, NC

Some extra guys Charlotte is looking at… All have offers in hand from Charlotte.

RB Kalin Heath is a player on the board to watch, a lot of talent and has the Cartersville connection. He is the younger cousin of TL Ford. He is getting strong looks from SEC schools and offers will pick up on him.

Note that RB Rocky Reid of Concord committed to Tennessee over the weekend.

I’d pull that last one, don’t care how good the kid is. If you can’t get the name right of the school that just offered you a scholarship you don’t deserve it.

I saw the Hallback tweet Bojangles, and just rolled my eyes, but hey, we have to educate them.

Charlotte is certainly making their rounds and sending out some offers.

Have not seen this posted. If this is redundant my apologies.

Good job this weekend on the sell job Cpip!

http://247sports.com/Player/Jamar-Winston-18521 Signs with Charlotte starts in 2015

Glad we were able to keep Winston.

6’8" 240lbs. lots of upside. definitely gives us the size we need up front. with proper coaching he could be a load at that size. also a division one basketball prospect. i would love to see him walk-on to the basketball team also. anybody heard anything about chris duffy?

Last I heard he was sitll at JUCO planning on coming here. He is playing safety now.

Found that we are also recruiting his teammate at GMC.

Down an independent Georgia Military College the Bulldogs are loaded at safety in 2014 with the return of both Corey Neely and Chris Duffy and the addition of Jerod Boykins.

Neely was solid as a freshman, making 29 tackles and three interceptions in 2013. The South Carolina native has an early offer from Tennessee State with interest from Charlotte, East Carolina, Georgia Southern, Louisville, South Alabama and Texas A&M during the spring. Neely has a great frame to build on at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds and plays a mean center field on film, locating the ball well and sticking an occasional receiver.

Duffy was a solid counterpart in 2013, finishing with 28 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, two sacks, three interceptions and four pass break-ups as a freshman. Originally from North Carolina, Duffy checks in at 6-foot and 200 pounds and looks like a guy with great speed on film as he also played running back in high school.

Boykins redshirted last season and will likely play both safety and outside linebacker. The native Floridian has a sensational frame at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds and if ready could leave after the season with three years remaining eligibility. Watch out receivers, because these three guys can play!
