2015 Signing Day

No idea.

Well then hopefully our fans and our oppositions fans will be surprised with our team next year. We are a good bit behind the top of Cusa without counting transfers.

Desmond Floyd 6-5; 250; DL Jonesville, S.C. Union County/Wake
This is great. Our D-line is going to be dramatically different next season. Manley, Floyd, Fain, and Devon Johnson will all bring much needed depth.
Great news, but I assume he will have to sit out this season as per usual. ??? …Nevermind, just saw he is a grad student. Sweet!

He was on the WF 2-deep at DE and played in 10 games. 12 tackles, 1.5 sacks. Much needed addition to the d-line rotation.

Can someone explain why we only need so few recruits? What are our numbers? I see lots of people signing classes of 20+.

In short, because we just started a couple years ago, and we redshirted all of our initial freshmen, we haven’t had the high number of graduating players as other established programs, so to get to the scholarship limit we haven’t had to recruit as many players.

Wait until after our first class graduates, then you will see larger classes from us.

They do not.

Recruiting rankings are influenced heavily by the number of people signed. We are going to be a little lower due to having so few people graduate.

Our first three classes were 25 or so kids. Add a few transfers, but don’t graduate anyone, you get smaller classes.

Should be a smaller class next year as well.

Damn. Looks like that wouldn’t of happened if that Reid commitment stuck…

clt says he should come here.

Any update on Young?

Running back Joseph Young of Fairfield (S.C.) Central had verbally committed to Charlotte but didn’t sign Wednesday. A source said Tennessee has begun recruiting Young. The 49ers aren’t out of contention for Young, however, with the signing period lasting two weeks.
