Wow, loophole sounds pretty reasonable to me. We wanted Dink for way more than just the ties to his own school, so this is the best way to extract that, it would seem. So f’ing sneaky if its the case, and I LOVE IT!

If we wanted Dink to recruit then why not make him a 3rd assistant? The loop hole theory doesn’t seem reasonable long-term.
Yeah, I’m not thinking that is what is going on here. He’s just able to fill the void until final assistant is in place. This also doesn’t mean Dink is out next week, could be Conrad.

Does it seem like we are offering more kids than we used to? If so, is this a realization that we are not going to get them all, or a strategy to put pressure on kids to sign before we fill all the spots?
Yes, it does seem as if more offers are going out, but that is across the board, especially for mid and low major teams. Also worth nothing, not all offers are commitable.
I am not sure I understand. Does this mean we offer a kid, but he cannot commit to us? What does this equal? Is that like asking a girl out for Friday night, unless I can find a better date?
Essentially. Not all offers are created equally. We don’t know what we don’t know, though.

From the interview, it sounds like he has his head on straight and knows the value of an education. Very smooth moves on the offensive end and takes pride in his defense. Hope we get him!
