This is me…Never cared about them until last decade. I used to get upset if we didn’t beat them by 15-20 points+ because they were such a nobody.
Well they lost at home to lipscomb tonight. So there’s that.

One of the 10 candidates mentioned for the Appalachian opening is Matt McMahon. He’s an ASU alum. But he already has a better job at Murray State. The Ohio Valley Conference secured two bids to this year’s NCAA Tournament. The Sun Belt is not as highly regarded.
Appalachian is a football school. There is little interest in the basketball team. Buzz Peterson was shocked by the apathy toward the program when he returned as coach. He left after one year to go to UNCW. Michael Jordan encouraged him to make that move.
Everyone on NNN should watch that SVP video on Martelli. That was really good.

Some thought Manning might get canned at awake, not happening:
I heard that Manning’s buyout is something like $18M currently so Wake was not going to eat that much money right now. It may not be that much, but I thought I heard it on the radio when they were talking about the new AD firing him right away and putting his guy in place.
