They are always horrible when it comes to their veneration of those two programs. They will just be horrible 24 hours a day for a little while. Iām reacting by avoiding as much coverage as is humanly possible until the tipoff of their game, as which time I will be rooting hard for Duke. One of them will win.

Jay Williams said Duke vs UNC-CH in FF will be the biggest college basketball game ever played. Also said itās the greatest rivalry in all of sports. Geez!!!
I will be avoiding all sports media for the week.

I can never and will never root for Chapel Hill. Just canāt do it.
I think the media is more about Coach K at this point that he is.

Expected ESPN Radio to be all about the FF this morning but most of the talk was about Will Smith smacking Chris Rock at last nightās Oscars.

I think media has gone over the top with Coach K. He has said about all he can say that this year is not about him. I have a preferred outcome but I really donāt care either way and I also plan to avoid much of sports media this week.
Well if he didnāt want it to be about him then he should have waited after the season to announce his retirement

Totally agree that it looked like a staged smack. Oscars are dying for any type of coverage. I would not put it past them to stage this to get people talking

I believe he said he wanted his successor to be able to recuit his own players rather than a lame duck coach doing it under false pretenses.
