I think we have a pretty good mix now. I haven’t done a class breakdown, but it seems fairly balanced now. Maybe a tad upperclassmen heavy, but that is consistent with an ultimatum.
I like it. When your team sucks… flip it upside down. Get mad. Sanchez may even get a couple Ts this year.

What is everyone expecting from Perry? I am not expecting a lot. Does he play in front of Aly or Jared?
Francois looks like he has a similar game to Supica but with more heft and athletic pop. I think he will do quite well for us. Would we like to have an elite 7 footer? Yes. Will I be happy with a big 6’8” PF that can bang and throw it down? Heck yeah!
Senior night will be a long one this year !

We could be 11 or 12 deep guys. There is going to be heavy competition for playing time. And the opportunity to platoon.
Sanchez is going to have to take advantage of this depth.

Perry played less than 20 minutes a game for a last place team in a league worse than CUSA. If he is able to contribute a good 8 to 10 minutes a game, I will call this a positive signing.

His game reminds me of bamba, who put up worse numbers at coastal. Definitely an upgrade over risetto.

If Khalifa can immediately play over Perry I would call that a positive sign for Khalifa.
Not saying this guys a world beater but he’s a solid fifth year with a lot of experience.
If Perry is our backup big that would be a great sign for Khalifa and Garcia.

This is the way every offseason is going to be with the new transfer rules. Just have to bring in as much talent as you can get and let them compete.

And two of the 16 are walk-ons anyway.
It looks like we may have 14 scholarship players against 13 scholarships.
That is, if Vasic is still here and on scholarship. I’m still not sure I understand what his situation is.
Cannon is the one that doesn’t count against the scholarship total. Bennett and Larson are the walk-on players. And belated happy birthday to the latter!
If he can get this team to mesh that will be quite the coaching job.
I agree with some other posters, this is the year. He has been given an ultimatum.
