I mean, I know North Texas had no chance in hell but it just irks the hell out of me how teams in “power” leagues always get the benefit of the doubt…only reason IU/Michigan got in was brand only.

Wyoming
Norte Dame
Creighton
Miami
Rutgers

Rutgers have to be the lowest ranked team to earn a non-automatic bid at 77.

North Texas wasn’t even listed as a first four out. I wish the selection cronies would just come out and say “we value brand & conference affiliation above any other metric”

Based on Net Rankings, I think that is accurate. All had a better Net Ranking than North Texas.
