I thought Folkes was hurt
Yeah, he broke his jump shot
And perhaps a bruised ego as well.
On to next season but we have had two years in row not good out of conference records against Super soft schedules. So difficult to look forward to next year eitherâŚ
Maybe the Conference Tourney to look forward to? but we know that story as well.
My take:
I think Folkes is a great kid and is very athletic. His shot has not gotten better (just not sure he can fix his mechanics), he does not know where to be on offense and makes bad decisions with the ball, turnover rate is high and the one time he makes a 3 he gets a T for talking to other teams bench and if he doesnât dunk it, he misses layups. He is a very good on ball defender but a huge liability on offense.
I thought weâd be competitive, not taken to the woodshedâŚthe two previous games I hoped weâd turned a cornerâŚmaybe we did and ran smack dab into a wallâŚI donât know.
I know Iâm frustrated, I know the players and staff are as wellâŚ
Iâm just gonna consider this a(nother) lost and disappointing seasonâŚ
As I mentioned earlier, not surprised by the outcome of the UAB game. Blazers are finally living up to the preseason hype and #1 pick. Not saying they are better than Memphis but could see them cutting down the nets in Fort Worth if the Tigers falter.
No argument this has been an extremely disappointing season that had its issues before games were even played.
We should just only play him on offense then.
Youâre welcome
