Heard on local radio this afternoon he had a stroke several days ago, likely caused by a brain tumor. (Not sure if he knew about the tumor before the stroke.) Host said the procedure was to remove existing blood clots.
Incredibly sad. I hope the AAC teams remember him this season in some manner (i.e., badge on the uniforms). USF should memorialize him too by naming the court after him.
