2024-25 AAC Basketball 🏀

Was I imagining things or was USF down almost 20 in the first half of that game? Felt like I saw a score of like 36-18.

Per ESPN team stats, Rice largest lead 14 while 12 for USF.

As this season has shown across all of college basketball, double digit leads of up to 20+ pts are very surmountable.

Still a pretty strong comeback by USF

Played high school hoops at Winston-Salem Christian. One of a number of players “forced” to take the JuCo route due to the extra pandemic year and transfer portal phenomenon.

Tigers closed the game on a 23-10 run with Tulane up 46-45 at midpoint of the second half.

Temple rallied to force OT and beat the Pirates in Philly. Mashburn with 32 to solidify a likely POTW honor on Monday as well as first team all AAC at season’s end.

UTSA led 27-13 at the half and held on in Denton for the shocker of the year so far in conference.play. Mean Green were 14.5 pt favs. Pretty much eliminates any at large consideration for UNT who began the day at #46 in the NET behind AAC best #40 Memphis.

North Texas drops 10 spots to #56 in NET. 0-3 vs Q1 and now a Q4 loss to UTSA. Only makes NCAAT by cutting down the nets in Fort Worth.

Not exactly sure what the “American Hoops Showcase” is since this isn’t first time I’ve seen such a designation this season but odd today’s game was on ESPN+ while Tulsa vs Tulane was on ESPNU.
