Best thing that ever happened to CLT basketball was Sanchez leaving. UVA fans will be hoping he will do the same real soon. Watching them play is torture as it was when he was our coach.

#11 Vols boat race #13 Baylor 77-62. UTK led 47-20 at halftime and coasted to the finish. In fact, Chaz Lanier did all his scoring with 25 pts in the first 20 minutes.

Wild weekend in LA:
Kudos to Steve Pikiell for scheduling a game at Kennesaw State as a “homecoming” for #24 Rutgers stud freshman Ace Bailey. Could have sought a neutral court in the ATL. Owls squandered almost all of a 21 point lead to win 79-77. The 22 TOs almost did KSU in.

Just too bad the Holes were able to wipe out a 21 point deficit vs Dayton last night to squeak out a win.
Plus Iowa State also faltered in round one vs Auburn and its blowhard coach to lose by 2.

UConn not only Big East team that appears to have been overrated. #21 Creighton beaten today 71-53 by unranked San Diego State in Vegas. Bluejays - then #14 - also lost last week 74-63 to Nebraska in which the visiting Huskers led wire-to-wire.
Thought it odd that #1 Kansas was the underdog in this game. Even with Dickinson thrown out during second half - justified IMO - KU got it done.
