See that previously undefeated LA Tech (7-1) suffered its first loss to visiting in-state foe Southern U (3-4). Jags first win vs D-I competition this season and a program that typically uses OOC to mostly fill its AD coffers before beginning SWAC play.
Can add Miami-FL (3-4) to the list of buy game “backfires” as Charleston Southern goes to Coral Gables and picks up the W. Like Southern at LTU and Monmouth at SHU, first D-I victory of the season for the Bucs (2-7).
