Not sure if the Niners staff was ever in contact with Furphy and even if so, donāt think we would have beaten out the crafty Bill Self to land him. Still, to read that Furphy was basically ignored in his recruitment by American schools is something of a head scratcher. See that Kelsey offered a CofC scholarship, so at least one coach in the Carolinas was aware!

True but Jay does have his allies. Of course, not surprised that Jon āMr. Clicheā Rothstein is calling out the NCAA as well. Jon lives in an alternate reality where everything is usually hunky dory and we donāt sleep for the six months leading up to May!
