2024-25 College Basketball šŸ€

I don’t want to start a new thread, so I’ll just put this here.
The Carolina Gamecocks home winning streak comes to halt in a big way at 71 in a row. Connecticut wins by 29 points

Watched a good bit of the game. Don’t know if USC just got caught up in the whole top 10 matchup + College Game Day + sellout crowd + national TV thing but just didn’t seem to be dialed in from the get go. Too many open looks for UConn pretty much made the game over at halftime.

If we had this kid we’d have 20 wins now.

Likely true.

Though Jobey and Demon Brown laugh at a mere 100 threes in a season.

Not the most well researched list. Milicic not even the highest impact transfer on the Vols. Hmm…

As I said, Igor not the most impactful transfer for the Vols and Shaw should know better:

Been watching some of the Duke vs Illinois game at MSG. I realize we never really had a chance at Evans and Proctor but nice to know we weren’t reluctant to offer the local McDonald’s AA as well as the Aussie Global Academy product.

Anyway, interesting that Scheyer felt compelled to schedule a P5 OOC in February. He won’t say it publicly but certainly a recognition that the ACC is no longer among the best. Of course, expected stronger competition tonight from what’s currently an undermanned Illini team beset by injuries.

Finally, Sion James may have made the best decision on a landing spot of all the AAC players who transferred after last season. Has become an integral part of Duke’s rotation as their starting PG.

Good points…. Also the date in NYC at MSG, interesting this is on FS1, must be a big payout.

Sion James from Atlanta, he graduated from Tulane and on his way to Goldman Sachs stopped for a year at Duke😁 is what they say…. He is a really good player and ended up being a key piece to the team.

Forgot about Caleb Foster! Offered him too. Blowout providing him with some PT.
