Do we think he just wants to be on a higher level team or go somewhere he thinks he will start? I don’t see him getting much time at Pitt…Holstein is legit! Does Gonzales only have 1 year left?
Degree quality and NIL likely play a big part here. I really want that kid, but it’s likely he’s going pro in something other than sports. Additionally, he’s got to make money while he can make money if big money is offered to him.

Nah, just have to change your expectations in this new era of college athletics. I actually don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing for us. Our football team has improved since this transfer mess has started. It may have taken a lot longer the old traditional route.

My primary issue with NIL is our students funding the system with fees. It feels unethical and immoral.
If at a minimum players in NIL were repaying the U would make it feel so much better.
