We’re bringing a couple friends so was debating on it since I never have before! Normally have my (young) kids with me so its a little much trying to wrangle them. But yeah, may be a little too early in the season with the heat or storms, we’ll see!
I understand that, we have a couple of littles that run around at our tailgate. You can start 4 hours before kick off and the parking deck provides good cover in the event of rain. A tent does wonders as well.
Folks - apologies for not getting more discussion going on game week. Work has been kicking my rear.
I am super psyched to start the season and cannot wait for Saturday.
How is everyone feeling? Optimistic? Pessimist? Or are we all cautiously wait and see (new QB + 70 other new players)?

I think I said it earlier but I will say it again.
It’s about the LOS. We win there, we will win the game. Keep Max relatively clean and open some holes in the run game. JMU has a very good transfer RB and excellent QB. Got to keep them contained.
Oh, and turnovers too. But that’s every game.

I think its too early go saybtheir qb is excellent. I do think he will be good but he has roughly a 1:1 td/int ratio for his career
No more moral victories like the suppose ones we had last year, MD & Florida we have been sold on. We got beat pretty bad , i believe our RBs had only net +12 yds against Florida for example and maybe 60 yds against MD and we were told we hung with them well.
We need to get a home FBS Win and this game is one of our few chances. We are currently tied for 2nd to last in home wins with current regime, really need to get this one! We could easily end up tied for last in home wins in coming weeks out of 133 programs.
For this game we need to be preparing everything we can to Win, gadget plays, trick plays, on-side kicks, full blitzes, 11 man punt rush… the window of opportunity is now and it is an excellent opportunity to turn things around.

Believe it was pointed out that we have lost 10 of our last 11 home games. I was so afraid that it was accurate that I couldn’t bring myself to verify that stat.
Time to turn this franchise around.

Fired up about getting on campus to tailgate Saturday. Can’t wait to see everyone. Maybe the team won’t suck.

Extremely excited to get the season started. I think that we now (at least on paper) the offensive power to put the ball in the end zone and out up points which has been absent in the past. Hoping the defensive front can hold their own. Believe the secondary will be strong.

We have the complete opposite approach compared to last season. We are laying low. I like it. I have a good feeling about this team. This first game is a big one. Nothing but respect for JMU football. I hope we can come out on top, One of the most interesting openers we have ever had.

Man I don’t know what to think. Biff is no Biff 2023. Is Biff 2024 playing silent assassin or he knows the team well enough to not embarrass himself again this year?
I like that week 1 will answer questions this year for niner fans.
