Maybe you’re right. Didn’t see that part. But maybe State player went a little too far. Plenty of blame to go around on both sides.
The ref getting busted open was all ECU. But hey, they’re all a bunch of garbage. I think that covers it.

Thought we were talking football. I know about State with four generations of family having graduated from NCSU. The first attended when it was NC State College of Agriculture and Engineering and the dean of the Ag school was a guy named D.W. Colvard.
There has been occasional bad blood on the football field with these two teams for decades.
Quite honestly they are both garbage. So yes they are the same. But ECU is AAC so I will take them in this matchup. AAC goes to 5-1.
And to clarify I attended NC State for a semester in grad school and couldn’t wait to get away from the place.
Listening to the State post-game on the Wolfpack Radio Network on 95.7. Already talking about the 2025 season opener.
All I know is we scored 55 points on them and kicked their ass!!

Too bad that’s the only thing that we can celebrate this year. I enjoyed that beat down of EZU but i would have enjoyed it better if we were bowling. Everybody will be taking about their bowl game but how many besides us are talking about us beating them?
Since my freshman year at ecu we’re 3-3 against them but head to head never tells the full story of a program. With our program being a doormat from 2016-2020 I would absolutely say state has had more overall success but had we sustained the type of seasons Ruffin had been producing I’d say despite the advantage they have in revenue and conference affiliation that you could argue we’d be on comparable footing. Felt good to pull that one out late though.
