I was just reacting to what advocate posted about Browns presumed backups not having any college snaps which implied Ivey was leaving or left.

He is an experienced backup assuming Max Brown wins the starting role.

Will be interesting how the depth chart goes.

Presumably Black will be pushing as hard as he can to win time.

Can he take the QB2 spot?

Can Ivey beat out Brown? (I would imagine Brown gets the defacto nod as part of his transfer but you never knowā€¦ā€¦).

Remember we didnā€™t think there was any chance Ivey was QB2 to start last season but he earned the job.

What if Black is freaking awesome? He could push both.

My assumption is that our coaches will now do whatever it takes to win and the favoritism to one QB who used to play for the coach is over.

Gonna be interesting!!!

I didnā€™t want to say anything negative about Ivey, because he seems like a good guy, but Pcon is right. He isnā€™t the answer at #2.

Bet he was simply embarrassed to post any ā€œsmallerā€ schools that offered him. I wouldnā€™t be surprised if his ego made him leave us

This doesnā€™t make much sense to me either, did he get recruited over? With all the injuries we had last year I donā€™t understand why kids wouldnā€™t see they are one twisted ankle from being the starterā€¦ oh well.

I think it is pretty easy to read between the lines on this one with Biffs end of year comments and how this played out.
