Defensive tackle Antonio Alfano was once regarded as the best high school recruit in the country
The No. 1 ranked recruit out of New Jersey who attended three different high schools, is now on his fourth college. After signing with Alabama and only appearing in their spring game, Alfano then transferred to Colorado where he never saw the field. According to ESPN, in the following October, he couldn’t practice with Colorado after being diagnosed with epilepsy. He reportedly started having seizures in February 2020, which prevented him from gaining clearance to play.
Seems like another Poggi reclamation project. Extremely high level talent who hasn’t played a down of FBS football due primarily to his medical condition.
