Of course we have signed people with better offer list, but the fact that he did not sign during the first signing period shows that he is courting other offers, and with him having a strong offer list of more regional offers, there is a lot of doubt that that we will be able to sign him, I am not getting my hopes up on this one
That is not the situation in this case. We passed on him, dont know if its grades but it was us passing on him and not the other way around. Not sure if hes actually even still committed, or his his school just retweeted his original commitment.
Looks like we added another punter.
Did we lose our punter from last year? He was probably team MVP.
Gonya is currently on the spring roster, but I was under the impression he has no eligibility left. He was listed as a Senior in the Fall and on the Spring roster.
I thought we had already signed a couple of other kickers
Dutch Fork WR / ATH (great program)
Well coached by Tommy Knotts at Dutch Fork
Hes a PWO.
Yes, but trying to give him some time to shine. We have had other great receivers from that program. Elijah Spencer for one.
This kid isn’t ideal size, but coming from a program like that, it’s easy for a good player to get lost in the shuffle. I’m curious to see if he is really a PWO in terms of coaching / talent.
Great point. No downside in this add.
Signed the punter from Michigan st.
Are we expecting any signings today?
Forgive me - I am slammed at work. Not a good day for me to follow this stuff.
Not sure if he is a PWO or a full scholarship guy.
247 doesn’t have a profile on him.
From other sources he is a 5’9 181 RB/LB/ATH
So probably a PWO and considering our luck with walk ons he will end up being a Niner mainstay and future HOFer.
From Charlotte (west Charlotte)
Looks like a very nice addition to the team.
Nice late addition! Nice to get a North Carolina kid back. Veteran player with many games played and he’s a big dude
