2024 Football Recruiting Thread

Coulda put this in a couple different threads. This one seemed the best.

  • Providence freshman QB Jackson Debe: Charlotte is the second program to offer Debe after East Carolina did so last week. Debe became the Panthers’ starting quarterback in the back half of last season and helped them reach the playoffs.
  • North Mecklenburg freshman DB Elijah Sellars: This is Sellars’ first offer. He is listed at 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds.
  • North Mecklenburg freshman RB/LB Kynis Tinnin: The 49ers are the first to offer Tinnin, one of the state’s fastest freshmen in any sport.
  • Independence freshman ATH Dallas Brannon: Charlotte is the first program to offer Brannon. At 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, he can play a variety of positions for Independence.
  • Independence freshman ATH Nick Reddish: This is the first offer for the 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete. He also plays baseball.
  • Providence Day freshman WR/DB Brendan Ravin: This is the freshman’s first offer. He is listed at 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds by the Chargers.
  • Providence Day freshman LB/RB Quintin McCray: McCray’s first offer. He’s 5-foot-11, 185 pounds.
  • Providence Day freshman WR/DB Gordon Sellars: Charlotte is the first to offer the 6-foot-2, 175-pound freshman. He had 12 tackles, two pass breakups, and a blocked kick in limited action last season.
  • Weddington freshman Thomas Davis Jr.: This is the second offer from Davis Jr., the son of famed Carolina Panther Thomas Davis Sr. Campbell University offered him first. The younger Davis is currently 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds. He recorded 31 tackles and two interceptions as a freshman.
  • Weddington freshmen Aiden and Andrew Harris: This is the first offer for the twin freshmen pass rushers from Weddington.
  • Chambers sophomore WR Arrion Concepcion: The younger brother of NC State signee Kevin Concepcion, this is Arrion’s first offer.
  • Monroe sophomore ATH Jordan Young: This is Young’s 8th offer. The standout wide receiver/defensive back made the 2022 HighSchoolOT all-state football team.
  • Olympic sophomore ATH De’Angelo Hall: Virginia Tech became the first to offer the 6-foot-3, 215-pound athlete in September, but Charlotte is the first in-state school to do so.
  • Forest Hills sophomore lineman Braxton Grace: This is Grace’s first offer. He’s a 6-foot-2, 280-pound offensive lineman and wrestler with a GPA over 4.3.
  • Weddington sophomore lineman Jimmy Randazzo: The 49ers are the first to offer the 6-foot-5, 285-pound lineman. Also a wrestler, he carries a 4.37 GPA.
  • Chambers junior lineman Jeremiah Blaylock: Charlotte is the first to offer the 6-foot-2, 340-pound interior offensive lineman.
  • Chambers junior DB Keelan Flowe: The defensive back was previously offered by James Madison University and East Carolina University.
  • Chambers junior RB Braylon Vinson: Charlotte is the first to offer the 5-foot-11, 180-pound rusher.
  • Chambers junior WR/DB Armon Wright: Charlotte is the first to offer Wright, who stands at 5-foot-11 and weighs 180 pounds.

A great opening campaign from this staff and the ink should start flowing easily from some of these under classmen!

ATH, 52 offers. Ours was a re-offer.

Has offers from Kentucky, SMU, ODU, App, etc.
