Just curious, not trying to be argumentative, but why does anyone think that we need an AD in place to make a complaint to the league, especially the no call when the Rice player slammed into Bradford on the dunk? We have an interim who is just as capable of filing a complaint. Thatās the only foul, IMO, that is indisputable from an outside perspective.
Frustrating ending to what was otherwise fun up until 7 minutes to goā¦.I thought weād improved on FTs, but missing five (inclduing a 1&1) almost doomed this gameā¦a win is a win. 3-1 in conference.
I missed the game and saw the score yesterday evening. I thought āOh wow we won a close road game.ā I didnāt realize till I got on here that we nearly blew the game
An interim could file a complaint but it would not carry as much weight as coming from a permanent AD which the conference would have to deal with regularly. I feel like we are floating out there with no representationā¦..easy to be taken advantage of.
I get what youāre saying, but I donāt think the complaint from the AD will do more than alert the conference that a mistake was made and, assuming refs are graded in any respect, it was a big F to not make that call. To me, the foul looked flagrant and not calling it was inexcusable, but ultimately didnāt change the outcome (thankfully).
More specifically, I agree, we might be floating without an AD in place, Gaber is being very deliberate in this process and nothing has leaked (good but frustrating). Weāre still represented strongly in the conference thru Gaber, but getting an AD in place will help all of us get a sense of direction and objectives moving forwardā¦we donāt really have that at the moment, or at least it doesnāt feel that way. I have no doubt, based on my interactions with Gaber only, that sheās communicating with the conference (either directly or thru the interim AD), but we donāt have that public face of the AD which fuels a bit of uncertainty.
