I’ll be the one this time……I’m so sick of these refs. Tulsa is allowed to shove, grab, initiate contact on offense while Charlotte is getting whistled for virtually any contact. 4 PFs on CLT in 4 minutes, ZERO on Tulsa. What a joke, meanwhile Jobey acts like every call is just great.
I think it took about 17 minutes for the one ref’s eyes to warm up and get in the game.
Jobey is one of my favorite Niners, but im going to have to start muting these games.

The only miracle that we need is for,Fearne to begin making logical, intelligent decisions about how to play to his guys strengths.
We had NO answer for their defense. None.
Book is out on us. Play us very physical defensively and we can’t do much.
I’m not sure the box score says the same thing, but Barnstable and Green were absolutely cooking us. Their whole team hit clutch 3 after clutch 3. So demoralizing.
Hmmm…perhaps we should start by not having our 7’2” center guarding every teams non shooting big men outside and instead stay down low and guard the paint…….and on offense, maybe we also try to get the ball down low to him and use the size advantage that he has virtually every game. How far down has our “strategy” taken Bonkes game in less than 2 months?…..maybe we dont try to plan man defense after almost every opponent has taken us off the dribble into that vacant lane, game after game. Im just not sure WTH Fearne is even attempting to do most of the time.

Sometimes it seems like he’s just trying to make sure everyone gets minutes for their highlight reels for when they hit the portal.

My 2 cents on the game.
We missed a lot of easy shots and we pass on easy shots early in the shot clock.
I know Bonke is dinged up but I think he could play with a lot more effort.
Bradford killed it on offense but gets beat badly on defense. Our guards get beat up top a lot and everything breaks down after that.
On to the next game.
Much of the “guards getting beaten up” and beaten off the dribble could be minimized if we didn’t insist on playing the defenses that we do…….pack it inside and cut off those lanes as much as you can……if a team gets super hot from 3, then so be it…….but make em do it, those are tougher shots than layups or dunks.
FWIW, Tulsa is the #1 3PT shooting team in not only the American but in all of D1.
