Well they at least weren’t blown out

Decent effort but any goodwill I had to commend efforts was lost on Sunday

You don’t wait until you are down 20 to start playing basketball.

7-2 and in first place…

Four straight losses, down 20 in the first damn half.

What are we, 8th now? In danger of not even making the conference tournament?

Fucking joke.

This team is such a train wreck of wasted potential.

There’s talent on the team. But the result is another loss. I am ready for a coaching change.

With the games we have left, Saturday is our best chance for a win.

Whatever we found in the second half please keep that going for the remainder of the season.

I’m not joking about missing the conference tournament. It’s a real possibility. Maybe even probable.

All it will take is for Tulane, UNT, FAU, and a resurgent Rice team to pass us.

This is the most likely way we finish the season:

vs ECU W (desperately hoping we don’t choke here - if we do, it’s over)

vs UNT L

@ FAU L

vs UAB L

@ USF L

Final record: 8-10. If Rice stays hot they could pass us.

What a monumental collapse if that happens.

Also, even if we backed into the tournament, have all of you seen how crazy the bracket is? The top teams get a bye all the way into the semi finals. There is no way in hell a team like Charlotte gets through all those rounds.

The starting 5 was laughable.

Mingo, conyers, Harris, bonke, and Bradford should be the starters IMO.

Elliott should come in first to give Bonke a break. He’s a big dude so I know he can’t play guard minutes, so I take him off the court first and give him a few minutes to rest. Butler should be second man off the bench. Or Butler off bench first and Elliott second. Neither is a suitable replacement for Bonke but we can’t expect him to play 35+ mins per game at his size.

Villar and Freeman should rotate in to give Harris Bradford, and Mingo a few minutes rest before the starters go right back in.

If Bradford is having a sloppy game, keep Villar or Freeman on the court longer.

nobody else on this team should see the court unless there is foul trouble.

That’s an 8 man rotation, and those players should be getting 95+ % of our minutes, with the starters getting as many as they can physically play without risking injury or exhaustion.

He actually played the best players most of the second half AND we appeared to actively try going inside a decent % of the time…….amazing what common sense can do.

yes, this is very similar to what I have suggested as well.

Glad I skipped watching this. My sanity is preserved another day.

I watch and just expect the worst now. If the worst doesn’t happen it’s nice. Otherwise I just move on.

This is absolutely what we should do, Play 4 guards with Bonke. Run and shoot. We are not good with the stand around and pass till the clock runs out Fearne offense…We would be so much better playing these guys the bulk of the minutes. Along with Bonke, Harrison and Bradford rebound well enough to keep us from getting killed on the boards, BTW. why was the guy wide open for a 3 with 25 seconds to go? Guard the 3PT line and make them go inside where Bonke should be waiting. They made 18 3’s for goodness sake. I think we all knew what they were going to do..

My thoughts exactly. Conyers gives us enough length and our guards aren’t small in general. Let’s get out there and score some points and get some rhythm going.

We were in a zone and were slow rotating back to the shooter when they swung the ball back around.
