If only we had hired Ryan Odom, now the head coach of Virginia, when we had the chance. Easily, one of the top five misses by our athletic department, a former coach of the national championship team, attended many of our games. There was never a doubt that Ryan was going to be a great head coach.
Interesting enough, I recall when we interviewed Will Wade, now the head coach of Virginia, the AD at the time made the comment that he was too arrogant and cocky and did not hire him.

Yes the Final Four loss is the worst loss. The state loss in the playoffs was bad too, but state was pretty good. We’ve started talking apples and oranges. My statement was not about the worst loss. It was about the worst COLLAPSE after having such a big lead over a team we should have beaten HANDILY. And then shit the bed in a most spectacularly inept manner, bordering on intentionally tanking, to the naked eye.
