This program is so stale. Attendance is in the tank. New AD should give himself a chance to inject some life in this program with his own hire.

Lets not be naive, the AD whom we hired has Zero experience hiring a HC at this level Bball or Football or any Coach for that matter.
No way they would put him in a position to have to hire a new HC especially so early in tenure. He will need to make what we have work.

We made a nice run in the tournament. Like we did the first two games, USF had two guys get hot from beyond the arc and broke our back.
The new format of top two teams getting a bye to the semis did exactly what they wanted. Seems a bit unfair but get that they want to give the top two teams an advantage and to help them get an at large.

Yep. The bracket was”rigged” to perfection. They got exactly what they rigged it for.

Unfortunately we just ran out of gas in the 2nd half. When USF went on a 15-4 run that was the game and during that run we went almost 5 minutes without scoring a basket. To be a good team you cant have scoring droughts like that we had too many of those this season. Fearne is probably gone just like half our roster because we had 7 seniors. I hope we can keep Conyers, Bradford and Bonke for next season.
South Florida can win a few games in the big dance with so many good teams with questions marks this season the tournament is wide open.
