Sloppy 2nd half but nice to be able to work with a lead instead of having to dig ourselves out of a hole.
The Aggies that weâll face on Sunday will be a just a bit better than the ones from A&T.
Sounds like Bradfordâs injury is minor and shouldnât prevent him from playing vs USU.
On the other hand, Gomez could be out for 3 weeks.
I think we played better with fewer in the rotation. Not certain thatâs why. Any thoughts on red shirting any of the Freshman?
We tuned the ball over 10 times in the second half after only having 3 at halftime. I agree with whatâs been said- after being up by 22 I expected a comfortable 30 point win. If weâre going to have a chance Sunday, we will need to play a lot better. I am still glad we won and Bradfordâs injury is minor.
I really liked that starting line-up and Elliott brought an energy and enthusiasm that I think this team needsâŚhe was really vocal, but in positive ways. Villar seems to be growing a bit more confident too.
Bonke needs to stop the silly fouls (his first one was literally pulling the oppenentâs shirt as he was moving away from the basketâŚright in front of the Ref!)
We got the dubâŚon to the next one.
Enjoy the pun, intended or not haha.
Purely unintential. Thought Eyenga is a hand injury, while Gomez is a foot and Harrison is a shoulder.
Bradford was a hand, I believe. Perhaps a wrist.
I was a little surprised by the lack of effort by A&T last night. They played soft on defense. I was also expecting them to light it up from 3, glad that did not happen.
FWIW, Aggies average 5 made 3FGs per game and they made 4. Plus foul trouble by 3 of their starting 5, including leading scorer Walker, worked to our advantage.
We never have had the killer instinct. we donât protect large leads well
The guy with the headband for A&T looked chill⌠Like too chill. I donât think he is a high effort defender. The headband was awesome though.
