Interesting tidbit about UT Martin. And none of the 13 international players is Canadian - from either Europe or Africa.

International players seem like a cheat code for NIL disadvantages.

I’m not complaining. We are doing it too.

I wondered about that too…is it the rule that international players are not permitted NIL, or has that changed?

The rule concerns regulations that can apply to any foreign student. International athletes are typically admitted on an F-1 visa, which allows for limited on-campus employment but also restricts off-campus work and NIL activities.

That’s what I thought, but didn’t know if some modifications had happened.

None so far.

Brendan Plavich drilled 10 of 17 threes to lead the 49ers to the win.

That was such a fun game. I think I remember Gary Williams saying Plavich was in range when he stepped off the bus. He was definitely feeling it, especially in that first half (believe the halftime score was 52-27. McNamara led a charge in the 2nd half but we held them off)

And Jags was doing the TV broadcast that night, IIRC.

For anyone who gives a rat’s ass, Nik scored 15 in the jay’s big win last night.
