Dusty & Co. taking no prisoners!
Dean one of five Cougars averaging double figures (10.1 ppg) and top player coming off the bench. Niners at CofC on 12/14.
Just caught end of Oklahoma almost imploding vs Marquette at UIC’s arena in Chicago. MU had a chance to win but totally effed up the final possession of the game. So not just Niners who are exasperating as P5s are doing it too!
Undefeated Utah State avoids a shocker in an 84-81 OT win over 4-loss Montana State. MJ Collins (Clover, SC) led Aggies with 23 pts.
Worth a read. Wish some adults would take control but I know that’s likely not gonna happen.

Good read. I think NIL is destroying the sport. It’s not fun anymore. It’s like pro sports without a salary cap.or even contracts.
The thing is, everyone with a brain knows this…but greed knows no boundaries and will kill so much of what people loved about college athletics.
Reminds me of the beatdown the Tigers put on the Niners in the QC in December 1989.
Opposites tonight per 3FG shooting:

A week and a half ago Michigan stomped Gonzaga by 40 in Las Vegas. Tonight in Nashville in what was basically a de facto home game for Kentucky, the Wildcats are routed 94-59 by the the same Zags squad.
UVA playing lights out so far this year with Ryan Odom (former interim Niners head coach) replacing Ron Sanchez.
Thanks Mike
Some Saturday observations.
Should have been Niners vs UVA at Spectrum.
Izzo might want to stop playing Duke at Breslin.
NC State is not an NCAAT team.
UNCA 6-7 G Kam Taylor of Charlotte would look nice in Niner green.
Palming/carrying the ball is apparently OK this season.
Mike Gminski still looks silly with that earring!
Had forgotten Ron was the AHC at Baylor until seeing him on TV just now.
Looking over Saint Mary’s roster ahead of their game at Davidson today. Of the 6 international players, 3 are from Australia. No real surprise since Bennett has long recruited the land down under.
BTW, Gaels are favored by 9.5.
Reminds me of the JMU tradition of throwing streamers on the court (until banned by NCAA), though I’ve just learned the Dukes were just copying NAIA John Brown U in Arkansas.
Retired basketball coach John Lentz was succeeded by Bobby Lutz at Pfeiffer in 1986 when the latter left to coach his alma mater, Lenoir-Rhyne. Then replaced by Ryan Odom when he stepped down at LR in 2015 as the school’s all time winningest coach.
