Winner of an online vote by Zona fans. Seems many wanted a return of the giant cactus and mountain with setting sun silhouette that graced the court for 25 years until removed in 2009 - the year Sean Miller took over.
I kind of like it and if you’ve ever spent time in Tucson, it makes perfect sense. Cacti are everywhere out there.
Definitely nostalgic since it’s basically an update of the McKale Center court design during the Lute Olson era.
