Eastern fans just aren’t very bright. Still, I think we should show them some compassion this week. Their anxiety levels have to be high with the threat of losing their SNAP benefits due to the government shut down.

I grew up in eastern NC and I hope to be wrong, but I wouldn’t take the niners +19 against ECU.
Feels like a beat down is coming. I think they really want this more than us.

Apparently the spread is so large that the stat page in the o today didn’t include this game. 
Unrelated to topic, but I gotta say, the Green and White football uniforms look really good. I wasn’t sold at first. I am now.

Prediction, East Carolina Pirates win and cover 49-14.
The talk over at HTC is hilarious. They are so keyed up. If the eastern trash can’t beat this team, they should probably just close their program.

ECU has had a countdown clock posted in its locker room to the Charlotte game since the 2025 schedule came out. The NC State game - another in-state opponent - was also beside it leading into the season opener. But the Charlotte game has been ticking down the days, the hours, the seconds, all year long.
