agree, but Loftis was thrown in late in games when we were already way behind. Opposing D’s know we are going to throw and not run the ball. He does try to write checks his arm can’t cash.
Mestamaker is just to good. They are helping us but I don’t see how we can beat this tam.

I need some explanation on that last drive. 25 seconds left and a TO with a first down on like the 40. You can take a shot or two to at least get into FG range. Take all the momentum into halftime

Loftis played well when he came in late against Army, but was not good in starts against USF or Temple. That’s water under the bridge now. He’s playing well this game.

Throwing deep into coverage isn’t a strength for Loftis. They tried that in an early game with Harrell, and he threw a pick, and they lost momentum going into the half. Here they played safe.

I agree. Take a couple of shots over the middle and try to get into FG position. What do we have to lose.
Tackling by our DB’s is not a strength either.
Tackling by the DBs has been awful. Womack has tackled well, though, and Gill had a nice ball strip.

We don’t seem to have an answer to their up tempo. If they need 5-8 yards and in a pinch, quick snap and it’s a guarantee.
Offense needs to turn it on in the last quarter.
Big middle finger to the defense there but, deserved.
Played it safe but will run a fake punt on your own 23yd line in a one possession game?
Loftis has to have great protection. If he doesn’t, it seems to break down pretty quick.

That fake punt was dumb. Your defense just got them to punt! One score game. On the 23. 14 minutes left.

We are simply overmatched physically trying to cover their receivers.

I’m ready for Wilcke….
He played will in the first half, but since the break, he’s just not getting it done. Wilcke has provided a spark in every game where he’s come in late.

That is ridiculous defense. There is no excuse for this piss poor tackling. Unbelievably bad playing by our DB’s. Albin needs to clean out our coaching staff. I don’t see anyone worth keeping.
