Since losing a home series to UTSA and getting run ruled at home by Campbell, the Niners are 25-8, including the last 10 in a row.

I read an article (somewhere) online a few days ago that stated “Gunderson’ season ended on” such and such a date. 
He’s done. That date was the day of game 3 at Rice.
Caleb Estes is doing a great job though. Awesome to see him step up. He was really good for Gaston last year as well.

Estes has definitely stepped up with the opportunity, but Gunderson being out still stinks. He was/is really good.
Rivera and Spencer Nolan are two others who have really stepped up in the last part of the season. If we can get some good pitching performances the rest of the way we can win this thing.

This lineup is rolling 1-9 right now. It’s awesome.
You would think so. Kribbs pitched 5 innings against them earlier in the year. Gave up 2 ER while striking out 4.
They probably counter with Jenkins. He was good in relief in game 3. 6 IP, 1 ER, 8 Ks.

Hopefully the whole squad will come together and put a stiff arm on Eastern like they did uptown in the 6-0 shutout !

Their fans are pretty confident. Here’s an example:

They took 2 of 3 from us on THEIR tur 5.5-weeks ago!! They shut us out in game one, squeezed out a 1-run win in game two, and we literally clobbered them in game 3! May that last-game-played memory/mauling carry over on Thursday as their 10-game winning streak slowly slides into the nearest sewer as Pirates continue their journey to AAC Baseball Champions, AGAIN!!”
That third game was the one in which their player slid into second with his spikes up, cleating Chandler Riley…after the third out had already been recorded. Classy.
