Crazy weekend. Despite losing 2 of 3 to lowly Rice, it appears we will end the weekend in a 3 way tie for 2nd in the AAC, thanks to losses by FAU and USF.

Friday and Saturday were incredibly frustrating. Our plate discipline drives me nuts.
Still, here we are tied for 2nd with two weekends left. The two seed in Clearwater would be excellent. As disappointing as this weekend was, a quick look back at 2019 will tell you how far the program has come.
You have one more chance to see Blake Gillespie at The Hayes next Friday. Plan accordingly.
We should still be leading the league in pitching when the stats update. If we hit, we’ll win.

Disappointing weekend for sure.
Very frustrating to watch at times. We have so many empty ABs. Getting 1 hit on Friday and wasting a Gillespie start was very hard to watch.
I know we have battled injuries throughout the season, but we’ve had huge droughts in scoring all year. I’m glad to have Poteet back to swinging the bat. Hopefully he can help us gain some consistency as we enter the last few weeks of the season, and into the postseason.
