Oh, I plan to. I just hope Charlotte has won some games by then, so it isn’t a lynching. 
Are you taking Albin back with you if we are winless by then and lose that game too?
Once the season starts, I’ll try to be honest in my assessment of him. Early on in his career, I wasn’t impressed, but the last 2.5 years he has changed my mind. If he does a bad job, I’ll be disappointed and critical of him, too.
Was it just that first season where he went 3-9 where you weren’t impressed,or i shoukd ask, what concerned you early on about him, and how did he change your mind?
Wins changes minds
I wasn’t impressed years ago when he was an assistant. It was probably because he came off badly in interviews. He was terrible in press conferences, and didn’t make a good impression on me. I’ll give him a pass on the first season, as being the guy at the top was all new. For the second season, he acted decisively, and made a lot of major, and needed changes, however, in the first half of the season, they weren’t working out. I still was ambivalent through the first six games, as the defense was #132 our of 132 in the country during the first six game. Some, mostly those that knew him personally, were still behind him, but many fans were calling for his head. I was in the middle, on the fence. By about the 7th or 8th game, it was clear that he could handle the job, and I have been a believer ever since.
What has impressed me is that he learns from mistakes, and makes changes where necessary, plus he adapts his game plans well for what he has available. In addition, the players love him and are motivated to work hard, and to win. FWIW, he is much, much better in interviews now, as well. In the end, it’s not so much that they were winning, but how they were winning. Some win with recruiting. Tim wins by making the players the best they can be, and getting the most out of them, both by motivating them, and by building a game plan for them that can work.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but i believe albin said recently that besides getting the ohio job late, he took on too much responsibility that season by also calling plays? Hopefully the app coach has that same issue
