Thanks! I studied mechanical engineering in my bachelors and masters. I did my thesis on structural battery design optimization (just finishing up some revisions right now).
I will not be staying here for a PhD but Iāll continue to work with my professor for a paper later this year.
The last summer of my bachelors I got the opportunity to do a research exchange program for 3 months in Germany. I made some friends while out there, and talked my way up to some conversations with professors there. So if the project gets funding, Iāll be working on breeding blanket design for magnetic and inertial confinement nuclear fusion reactors as a PhD researcher.
In the meantime, Iāll be studying for the FE exam and taking the long needed break from schooling haha

I donāt agree that UNT is a lockā¦ Seems 50-50 at best. But I donāt know that some of the lock losses are in fact locks.
4-8 seems like a pretty fair consensus there. The CFB home guy is an idiot.

A little surprised that no one picked us to beat ECU but 4-8 is a fair prediction. Once again, the Appy game is a monster and can change the whole floor/ceiling calculation.

Just discovered melodic Euro power metal. In My lifetime Iāve never heard overall more consistently great music. Great bands from Sweden, Finland, Germany etc. As far as intro for football, check out Follow the Cipher āRewind the Starsā one of my all time favorites

This season is by far the hardest of all time. But despite clear winners and losers in the HVAC conference, there is still parity.
App game is a toss up. We havenāt played them in years now. Chapel Hill will likely be a loss, but if we can pull out something wild against Duke with Will Healy, then maybe thereās a chance at home with Albin. Neither team will have a good chance to understand the opposing playbook thanks to new coaches.
Georgia is a loss. Iāll be honest on that.
But Iām shocked that ECU is coming down to an overall loss. Iād be shocked if that happened this year.
This will be the best season in Charlotte history even if it goes 1-11. What an exciting match up each week. Even Monmouth is a game Iām pumped for.

I think the deal with ECU is that they not only changed coaches, they changed QBs after they played us. And the new QB went the hell off in the passing game in the back half of the year, throwing for over 2k yards and a bunch of TDs. I think they believe ECU wonāt have trouble scoring this year.
Feel bad for the guys having to kick off practice in the weather this week. Itās rough out there.
