Boyd played at Cannon but we didn’t recruit. Had 14 and 7 vs Niners back in November.
Played his HS ball at Winston-Salem Christian but not recruited by the Niners. Averaged 8.2 ppg 5.7 rpg 1.1 bpg during RS-freshman season at Saint Joseph’s.
Niners had offered Pringle in 2021 while he played for Dodge City CC following a freshman year at Wofford.
Played HS at Metrolina Christian in Indian Trail. Based on Schools he is visiting, may not be good enough for Charlotte.

Niners offered Fish back in 2022. This transfer is for PT, not money. Played in a total of 13 games in his two seasons in Ames.
Wouldnt it be nice if we could just land all of these Charlotte metro area recruits initially instead of hoping that they all come home after they left for “better opportunities”

I would settle for a steady diet of players who want to come back home and play for us as transfers. We aren’t getting that in basketball like we seem to (to a limited extent) in football.
That’s the easiest way to get money. I wonder if dishon Jackson would get the same payday in year 2 at Iowa st… I’m assuming not.
DJ among four to enter the portal at ISU, along with four who will be graduating. I suspect he’ll be looking for more PT wherever he lands after averaging just under 19 mpg this season.
