2025 College Football 🏈

Utep game like our CBI tourney…. We had like 20 Charlotte staffers in one row and then there was some event personnel scattered throughout the stadium.

Another big Win for SMU, winning at Clemson.

Very well run school and sports program!

They were just in AAC, we were in no way ready to go into this conference.

They have rich boosters who were willing to buy success for the program and buy their way into the ACC.

Oh yes, they said they had been waiting 4 decades for the opportunity. Being in Dallas and state of Texas is of great value as well.

No gimmicks.

Well we are in the AAC and it is time to compete. Put up or shut up time for us. Bottomline is we need NIL to compete. We need to figure out what the James Madisons of football are doing and start doing the same.

For one thing, JMU is fleecing its general student body with an athletic fee around $2,300 per year.

At least JMU students get some ROI.

Vols just pulled a Niner on final play of first half.

That was quite seriously the most pulled a Niner moment I have ever seen another program do.

Wow.

My football pain knows no end.

That’s not the point with JMU. If it is $2k and they have 22k students then they have 40+ million for athletics. How much do they spend on NIL out of that or is it a separate account? Know everything about who you are competing with. Then do similarly.

Not unsurprisingly, Memphis and Army both make the latest “Misery Index”.

AP has Bulls #18 with Tulane and Navy in ORV. Zero votes for the Tigers.
