Is Fearne or the rest of our staff on vacation or working at all?
Yes they are working since prospective players are making visits. And with the next quiet period approaching on May 1, coaches are recruiting off campus as well
Miami hoopster who prepped at Liberty Heights in the QC.
Still shocked and surprised how so many think we can suck this bad on our own. Without any help beyond current facilities, the university residing in a globally recognized city, several healthy donors that have participated for many years, and the money that flows in from student athletic fees, we should be far and above all other NC public universities excluding the ACC.
Other than us joining the American conference, what have we done over the last 10 years. We seem to be very comfortable with the spot we’re in and hope to just maintain what is, and has been, in place for quite some time. Darn shame to see so many previously inferior scools catch and pass us.

UNCW is good. They have been good for several years. They have an excellent coach who while they just gave him an extension I am still surprised he didn’t leave.

UNCW being near the Atlantic reminds me of my maternal grandfather telling me about riding the train to Wilmington and then taking the streetcar out to the oceanside pavilion in Wrightsville Beach.

Thought he might back off on HPU after Huss decided to return to Creighton but that’s not the case.

What is going on with our recruiting, I mean seriously, how many guys from the area are committing to schools with lower profiles than us, is this just us not targeting these guys because they dont fit the current staffs system, are we targeting them but not able to close the deal, NIL, the system we play, recent history???
