Apparently something has come to light to cast a doubt on Crossβs commitment. Will admit Iβm asking tongue in cheek while also rolling my eyes. ![]()
Ends that debate.

I think itβs fair to say that one of the reasons we heard so little about hoops recruiting is that we probably didnβt want anyone tampering with our class.
On that note, Kudos to Fearne and the staff for their execution. Iβm excited to see these guys suit up for us.
Looks like two very nice signings!
The young man gives a great interview. He will do well in the classroom. Just hope our program will settle down (notwithstanding transfer portal and NIL) and we can develop him as a player.
I doubt heβll end up here. Iβm fatally cynical at this point. Too many disappointments have ruined any positivity I ever had in our athletic programs.
I think he will end up here. I doubt he graduates from here because thatβs just normal now, but I think we will see him in Halton next season.
Is there no binding letter of intent any more?
If not.
Someone please explain to me what college athletes are actually compelled to do by their relationship with an athletic department?
I get being able to transfer but there has to be consideration both ways.
If you commit to a program you should either have to go play for that program for one year or sit out the following year if you go somewhere else.
I would see exceptions for coaches that get fired. Thatβs about it.
Heβs already signed. Sitting out a year is pretty much a relic of the past that has been relegated primarily to issues of academic eligibility.
Does his signing bind him to our AD or he has to sit a year? Is that the rule?
If players can commit/sign but then decommit at the last minute how would that be sustainable.
NLI just recently eliminated.
So those signings we just did are irrelevant?
NLI elimination explained:
