That’s the definitely the more optimistic/ positive spin on what they said. Most of my comments were lifted directly from short notes I took while listening. The not being able to score reliably thing was what really triggered / bothered me. I can’t sit through another season of Sanchez like offense. That was brutal. Please, no more.

Although wes has some less than stellar reviews, unlike ron, he has actually been a HC before, doesn’t have the personality of wet paint, and unlike ron, has actually produced really good defenses. Hopefully the staff he assembled can make up for his weaknesses
Yep, definitely have to take notes as my STM isn’t all that great. And with a trio of talking heads like Three Man Weave, also have to watch multiple times so as to make sure I’m attributing comments to the correct person.
Anyway, been looking over last year’s 3MW preview. Correctly picked USF to win the American and for Memphis to fall as far as 5th, which the Tigers did.
On the other, they thought there could be a number of coaching changes, with Paul Mills being the most likely to get pink slipped.
Of course, the aforementioned didn’t happen as only Charlotte and USF ended up with vacancies to fill, but won’t be surprised if it occurs during the 2026-27 cycle.

I like the 2 bid discussion, but they really didn’t have anything to say about us despite ranking us above a Memphis team that they spent half their time discussing. UTSA got some decent run, but I don’t think they even mentioned us?

I’ll believe UTSA is a sleeper when I see it, but then again they continue to outperform their facilities and spending.
