FWIW, the season opener vs Indiana State won’t be Coach Miller’s first visit to Terre Haute. That occurred during the 2023-24 season when Cincinnati lost 85-81 to the Sycamores in an NIT quarterfinal game.
I hope we are playing them on the road in order to visit Chicago and play in front if Chicago hs kids, otherwise that’s odd

I thought we already played them in a home and hole in the same season? Why would we still owe them a game?
Even though last season’s meeting was the 4th all time between the schools (and first since 2007 Paradise Jam in USVI), it was the very first time on either’s home court.

UIC: The Flames crushed it in retention this spring, keeping five key rotation staples, including prized sophomore wing Rashund Washington Jr., who would’ve had a substantial market in the portal. UIC also rounded out the roster nicely with Ohio State transfer point guard Gabe Cupps and Furman shot-making wing Asa Thomas, who started his career at Clemson. Rob Ehsan had the Flames on the doorstep of the NCAA Tournament last year, and the nucleus is in place to be in the mix yet again in 2026-27.
I’ll ask for the same request on here that I did on the other board: if anybody going to niner nights can ask wes what the plan is for the 15th scholarship, I’d appreciate it

Remind me who he is again.
Couldn’t remember if we had recruited GG Jackson but just checked and we didn’t. Had forgotten that he had reclassified from 2023 to 2022 after committing to South Carolina.
