Yeah, I wouldn’t expect Loftis to change much at this point. He is who he is. If we’re starting him, I hope we have a great running game.

Reading this, please tell me why Loftis is even here?
Experienced backup qb who knows the system and culture. He should not play but he can be a good locker room guy. Also, finding a better qb to come in to be 3rdstring is difficult

Loftis was 3-2 as a starter at Duke, 56% completion, 8 TD to 4 INT. Not a bad guy to have around.

I believe we have receivers. I believe we have QB’s. If the line produces we have a much better offense. If the defense is at least decent we are not the 2nd worst in the Nation. I would put $$$ on that.

How about Citadel? I know our “easier” non-con games in the past haven’t been easy

Louisiana was 6-6 last year
I am more so referring to Gardner Webb, William and Mary, SC State
Citadel 4-8 and pretty bad last year. If we don’t beat them fairly convincingly we are in huge trouble

I have not gone to JRS completely confident of a win in a long time.
Do I think we can win every game heck yeah but we have a long way to go before I will chalk up any team as an easy win.
