While Pete Bennett is only 1-3 since taking over at G-W, those losses are by a combined 6 points, including single point setbacks to FBS Liberty and Marshall. Will be interesting to see how the Runnin’ Bulldogs do in OVC play.

Projected 1st round NFL talent, but apparently is a head case.

(Virginia Tech) AD Brian White’s new “Invest to Win” model sets football season tickets at $350 per seat starting next season, with a seat commitment ranging from $95 to $3,910 depending on location. Basketball season tickets run $250 to $850 with $25 to $350 commitments. There’s also a new Investors Society with a $50K minimum gift.

Wow, I never gave 2 shits about LSU football before, but now I do hope the SEC boots them.

Ridiculous, this is why I like the Protect College Sports Act. Yes it isn’t perfect but at least someone is trying to solve this madness. These talking heads like, Steven A, Finebaum etc.. don’t like it because it limits the kids earning power and transfers opportunity. That’s BS. NIL was passed so the players can benefit from the monetization of their Name, Image and Likeness, not just the colleges and the NCAA. NIL was intended for kids endorsing products, car commercials, % of their jerseys sold, ect. Not a school offering some QB 10m to transfer, that has nothing so do with NIL. Now we have Universities increasing fees, hiking up ticket prices, etc..to get to pay for more players or pay for play. IMHO, if I were at VT fan, spend some of that money, on a really nice TV and watch the games from home, they are all on. Or just tailgate at the stadium. This Act in Congress is trying to save Olympics and Women’s sports and the P4. IMHO
