That UConn team was loaded! And i remember seeing them play after our game at Holy Cross and thinking how big they were.
NCAA tournament appearances are why we play the game right? 20 years? Half my life? We suck and suck bad. Can’t believe a lot of us waste our time on this. There’s be a few good years in the last 20 but far more let downs.
I don’t have the extra cash to fund NIL. If I did have the extra cash, not sure I would. I would be EXTRA pissed at the results. I’d demand 15 min weekly calls with Fearne, Hill and Gaber on the line for me to b*tch at them. So, I’m pretty sure they don’t want my money for NIL purposes.
So how many teams have or haven’t made the tournament in 20 years?
Three of our conference mates have droughts even longer:
• ECU 1993
• Rice 1970
• Tulane 1995

The wild thing that we were a 7 seed with 21 wins. Bobby had such an athletic team that played alot like the current Memphis squads.
