You’ve not paid up yet mac? SHAME, SHAME!

I’ve not sent mine in either but the envelope in here on the desk for next week.

Have you guys increased your donations, keep them the same or decreased them.? I have a sneaky suspession many have decreased donations. Many people that I have talked to aren’t happy with what they are getting for being members or no real incentive for the high donation and the things that have been taken away this year. People are also feeling that their is not a demand any longer and they are safe on the points scale. I am just wondering and am certainly not saying do not give as much.

I hope donations go up and not down.

incentives are nice, football is an incentive

You need to activate PMs.

Well approximately 180 new season tickets were sold last year so I’d say demand is up as far as tickets go. More people are in line for the good seats.

Besides the benefits, which are pretty damn good IMO, you are supporting the University and scholarships. It’s a tax-deduction and you see the pay-off on the court and fields.

180 whole new season tix?

I think most people expected a drop after leaving C-USA and fizzling out at the end of the previous season. I’d say 180 new is pretty good.

How many season ticket holders do we have?

Just wondering how many cancellations were made on season tix as well.

I try to keep my donation fairly consistant, and I’ll always have at least one season ticket. Life doesn’t always permit the donation to stay the same or increase, but that’s what I strive for so that the program knows it can count on me for what little I do contribute. If you look at it as strictly a donation (which is what it should be), then whatever you get after that for joining the 49er Club is a bonus. The better parking alone is worth the $49 to join if you’re a person who has to get something before you contribute. To those season ticket holders we lost simply because we changed conferences, que cera. Supporting ones school, their main athletic team, and being entertained by watching good basketball games aren’t enough for some people. Taking away your support in protest because you don’t like something is not going to make the program better. I would understand if we hired/kept a coach who got in trouble with the law, etc, but revoking your support because of something petty is, petty. Prices have not increased over the last three seasons, so that should not be an issue either.

I actually increased my donation this year. It’s still not to much but at least it’s more than nothing.

I increased mine as well, and was luckily able to get it corporate matched as well. Nice feature…

That’s the key to moving up the ladder fast. If your employer does not match your gift, you might be 70 before you get in the lower level. :pout:

Definitely find out if your company will match. Mine does not. It’s a HUGE bonus. The ultimate is pooling your contributions under one name and then getting the company match. You’ll be in the lower level in no time and it’s a BIG donation to the Foundation.

That is a really good idea…

How many lower level seats are allocated to season ticket holders?

Yeah, my company doesnt match, which is lame…But I do try to increase my donation every year. This year, I think I’m going with the ā€˜suggested’ donation. Its not too much, but it feels good to support the school.

Just got a pledge card from the Belk College Of Biz as well. I think some of my ā€˜athletic’ money may be diverted to them as well.

The parking is awesome, by the way.

Yeah, I must be on some list…because I receive requests from everybody - arts, engineering, general fund, athletics. I throw 3 of the 4 away.
